Burial Warfare Overview
Stay bold and steady, for a moonlit stroll through the graveyard awaits, and you’ll feel icy glares not just from the vast, hypnotic moon. This is the Night of the Living Dead, after all, and it’s shaping up to be an incredibly long and breathtaking night.
Burial Warfare is a 6-reel, 4-row slot demo featuring: two teams for you to choose, Wild, Explosive, and Scatter symbols, a Stash Opening minigame, a Loss Bonus, and Free Spins. Before the gameplay starts, you pick your side: Humans or Zombies. You can switch teams at any time, and symbols matching your chosen team yield higher winnings. There are also team-specific symbols. These appear for both sides but are color-coded to their team, and their payouts are tripled. Human and zombie thumbs-up hands act as Scatter symbols. Depending on your selected team, landing three or more Scatters on the reels wins a round for one side or the other. If your team wins the round, you receive a Loss Bonus and a chance to open a Crate (Coffin) with an extra reward inside.
The crate holds all symbols on the screen that have reward value, plus the Jackpot symbol (a bonus symbol where the reward equals the sum of all rewards multiplied by 10). By opening the crate, you win one of these bonus rewards, with its special value listed in the rules under "stash."
Three enemy Scatter symbols mean you lose the round. But don’t worry—each losing round boosts the Loss Bonus, which is paid out after a round win or a draw (when three Scatter symbols from both teams appear on the screen). The Loss Bonus starts at zero at the beginning of the game and increases by bet/2 each time the opposing team wins. After the Loss Bonus is paid, it resets to zero.
Three consecutive round wins award you a massive 30 Free Spins! During Free Spins, Scatter elements don’t appear on the reels, boosting the Free Spins win rate.
To win this showdown, you have a wide arsenal of high-impact weapons. For example, dynamite, which explodes and destroys all non-allied symbols nearby; the team-neutral Bottle Rocket, which switches enemy symbols to Wilds; or the Molotov/Acid Flask, which replaces adjacent horizontal and vertical symbols with Wilds.
